Carsten turned two while we were on vacation so we celebrated with a song and some cupcakes.

Casen has a strange fascination with rugs. He loves to sit on them and pull the sides up. He really enjoyed playing on the Archbold's huge entry rug.

Ethan and Casen playing one morning in my favorite room of the house. It is a porch connected to the kitchen with giant screens on all three sides. We ate every meal out here and at night would play games as we listened to the raindrops fall. It was glorious!

Arkansas

Last week Chris, Casen and I headed to Arkansas for a little R&R with our good friends the Leavers and the Williams. A wonderful couple, the Archbolds, from Chase Oaks church graciously let our crazy group move in to their lake house in Hot Springs Village for a week. I'll share some photos of our adventure in the next few blog posts.

Our Adult Bible Fellowship (a.k.a Sunday School, flock, small group, etc.) does this fabulous thing called Supper Club where one guy pairs up groups of four or five couples randomly each month. This month Chris and I were in charge of our group so we had everyone over for make your own pizza night. We had a great time getting to know everyone better and it was fun to see the kiddos playing together!

Oklahoma

Last week, Casen and I made a quick trip to OK to drop off Sutton at my parents house. My parents and Chris's parents are graciously keeping Sutton so she doesn't have to spend a week at doggie camp. While we were there we didn't get to see as many people as we wanted to but Casen did get to spend time with his cousins!

We dropped off some clothes that my friend Amy had loaned us. She has a little boy, Noah, and a little girl,Lily, who is just a few weeks younger than Casen. Casen had a great time playing with them!

Casen had a great time at his Millie and Guapo's house also. He discovered the running water and loved it!
